The statistics for 2010 reflect a 9% rebound in plastic surgery.
The ASAPS (American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) has conducted multi-procedural statistics since 1997. Almost 9.5 million cosmetic surgical and nonsurgical
procedures were performed in the U.S. in 2010.
Breast augmentation was the most frequent surgical procedure. The most frequent nonsurgical procedure was Botox.

New figures from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons revealed that tummy tuck surgeries had the highest increase in frequency of other cosmetic surgeries since 2000, up 84%.
